Heber City Cowboy Poetry Event Poster 2011The Western Art Rodeo Association Fall Shootout is sure to stir up dust at this year’s Heber City Cowboy Poetry Gathering and Buckaroo Fair.

What is It?

The library of Wasatch High School will feature a high end Western Art Gallery and live Western Art Competition. Artists put it all on the line as their artwork is judged and scored in front of 3 judges and a live audience – American Idol Style. Events include sculpture, oil painting, water color, carving, photography, dry medium and mixed media.  All artwork will have a Western Theme and will be judged and scored based on the principles of fine art. This is a fun event that adds entertainment, excitement and education to the traditional art show.

Treat yourself to some of the finest western art around and meet the artists in person. The gallery is open daily and admission is free with your general admission ticket to Cowboy Poetry.

Competition Go Round Times: Friday, Nov. 4 at 5:00 p.m., and Sat. Nov. 5th at 1:15 and 5:00 p.m. All Go Rounds will be in the media room just off the library of Wasatch High School.
