The full horse body study cast by the Sculptor Jeff Wolf is an indispensable tool for the artist, novice and professional alike.
Mr. Wolf’s exquisite handling of clay, accurate knowledge of anatomy, and attention to detail, are all showing up in this magnificent creation!
Not only it includes all the crucial elements of the animal’s muscle groups with their complex interrelations, in the most convincing and informative way, but it also transforms it’s bony system into a palpable experience, setting the very base for the successful completion of the form!
I would recommend this work of art to anyone who is seriously interested in diving into the magical world of sculpting!

This is an excellent reference study cast with great details that are otherwise very hard to visualize from books. There is no other ones like it. I very much recommend it for any sculptors or artists!

  3. Tex Mueller

I love this tool not only for the great visual aid in sculpting the horse but also having an understanding of similar animal anatomy in general. Being able to look at and handle this 3D model answers all kinds of questions. It’s a great investment added to my home studio… now I’m hoping for the addition of other models in this style!

  4. Roberta Remy

I have just started to study the anatomy of the horse. I have almost every anatomy book every written and illustrated on the horse, but there is nothing like seeing it in a sculpture and seeing how the light and shadow patterns fall on the forms. this is such an excellent piece. I will draw from this for hours in every view. I too hope for more additions of other models.

I wanted to let you know how much I like the horse! The form and detail are lovely. It is easy to see how the anatomy effects light and shadow. I recommend adding this to your studio reference.
