This is a beautiful bronze Buffalo sculpture by Mary Michael titled “When Grass Was Free.”

Ruler of the plains; built to survive where the land can be harsh, the weather indifferent, someone always ready to check your back, and the grass was free.

The buffalo has a magpie on it’s back and it’s mounted on a solid walnut wood base.
