We are getting more and more artists to enter every day. Don’t forget, the deadline is April 1 – or when the maximum of 88 pieces per event is reached.
Many artists that have entered over the last few days are ones that we did not know were planning on participating, which is very exciting. We have had some that have told us that they don’t travel to show their art normally, but they see something different in our event that they liked, so they decided to enter and attend. This is exactly what will make this event a success – those sensing the need for change in a struggling industry and stepping up to make a difference.
If you haven’t entered yet – REGISTER HERE BEFORE IT’S TOO LATE.
The W.A.R.A. has landed on two different radio programs promoting the Spring Challenge. One station here is Utah and another in Montana. We also plan to promote more through the use of radio in the upcoming weeks.
We have several newspapers that will be publishing articles about the event in the upcoming weeks including the Deseret News and Daily Herald.
We also have KSL – Channel 5 that will be interviewing this week for a news broadcast promoting the event.
Other local Television stations have also shown interest in promoting the event that we are following up with this week. Several of them have already aired interviews about the W.A.R.A. concept to local stations.
Invitation are being mailed out far and wide in an attempt to get as many art collectors to Sundance as possible.
Several artists have passed out information at other art show events in surrounding states including Montana, Utah, Nevada, Colorado and California to artists and art collectors.
The W.A.R.A. has printed over 200 posters that we are putting up all over the State of Utah to generate as much interest in the event as possible. Special thanks to Brent Flory and Steve Johnson for the paintings for our invitations and posters.
Cowboys and Indians will feature the event in their Newsletter this Wednesday. This will reach over 30,000 subscribers. Subscribe to the Newsletter here – http://www.cowboysindians.com/magazine-advertising/newsletter/sign-up.jsp.
If you have ideas on additional ways to promote this historic event, please let us know. We would love your help and involvement. We want to make this event as BIG as possible and we would love your help. We are promoting the event to every possible media channel that we can reach.
