Artist Bio

Fine Art by Walter Israel – Charcoal Portraits

Walter Israel is an artist drawing Charcoal Portraits. He has a passion for drawing portraits of people and animals. Walter’s working journey has taken him from a career spanning three decades in Germany as a graphic designer for renowned publishing companies to crossing the ocean to arrive on the shores of sunny Florida. Walter had the honor of becoming a citizen of the United States of America.

His authentic inspiration for art includes the one of horsemanship. The Horseman Walter has experience with horses more than forty years.

It’s not only the time that makes one to a good Horseman. It is the intensity, empathy, and understanding of the horse that helps us grow together. Horse Connection with Feeling is a way to understand and enjoy a deeper level of nature. – Walter Israel –

These powerful four-legged teachers continue to provide a distinct and profound roadmap to nature, as well as the dogs that now surround Walter at home which offer insightful life lessons from the canine perspective.

The woman he married dances with words and can perhaps best summarize his work:

‘It is such a joy to watch you transform a blank page into such memorable images. Combining a genuine connection with people and animals with such creative talent, you have autographed your masterpiece of life with excellence.’
